Cylindrical insulators with external/internal thread – flexible mounting solution

Cylindrical insulators with external/internal threads are suitable for applications where both reliable electrical insulation and a flexible mounting method are required. The external thread on one end and the internal thread on the other make it easier to use the insulator in various busbars, electrical panels and switchgear. At the same time, the insulator keeps conductive parts at the right distance from the frame or other components and improves the safety of the entire structure.

The body of cylindrical insulators is usually made of glass fiber reinforced insulating material that is resistant to mechanical stress, vibration and temperature fluctuations. The external/internal thread allows the use of different bolt and rail solutions within the same product family. This allows the insulator to implement both straight-line and structurally tight connections without separate adapters.

The range includes insulators with several thread sizes and lengths for different voltage and load levels. A properly sized cylindrical insulator makes installation easier and reduces the need for maintenance as the rails and components remain firmly in place even over a long period of use.
